Our Story

It started with my son.

When my son was five years old, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. That diagnosis changed everything — his routine, his diet, his daily life. And not long after, it started changing his skin too.

He began developing patches. Uneven tone. Discoloration that spread across his body. His skin was breaking down and nothing the dermatologist prescribed was helping. The steroid creams made it worse. And I watched my son, already navigating something no five-year-old should have to navigate, start to become a target for the kind of cruelty kids can dish out when someone looks different.

I wasn't going to let that be his story.

So I sat down and started researching. Butters. Oils. Herbs. Plants. Everything I could find about what skin actually needs when conventional medicine stops working. I wasn't a formulator. I wasn't trained. But that is what I became. I taught myself, one ingredient at a time, until I understood not just what to use but why it worked. What I created for my son worked.
